Mon State is located between latitudes 14°52′ N and 17°44′ N, 96°53’E and 98°13’E. Population of Mon state is 2,054,393 and the area of this state is about 12,296.6 km2 (4,747.7 sq mi). 10 townships and 443 villages were included in this state. Mon, Bamar, Pao, Dawei, Shan people stay in this State.
Mawlamyine is the capital of the state and 19th March is the day of Mon state.
