Ayeyarwaddy Region
Ayeyarawady region is located between 15° 40′ and 18° 30′ approximately and between cast longitude 94° 15′ and 96° 15′ 15°40′ N and 18°30′ N, 94°15’E and 96° 15′ E approximately. Population of this region is 6,184,829 and the area of the region is about 35,140 km2 (13,570 sq mi).26 townships and 2129 villages were included in this region. Sakaw Kayin, Poe Kayin, Chin, Bamar, Rakhine, Shan people stay in this region.
